Kevin P. O’Brien
Legal Assistant
Kevin, a seasoned legal assistant since his graduation from Boston College, works directly under the supervision of our attorneys with a focus on post-litigation matters. Kevin is also integrally involved in client development and marketing and with the firms information technology.
Kevin is currently a 3rd year law student at the Widener University School of Law, expecting to receive his Juris Doctorate degree in late 2011. Kevin is very involved with the review and evaluation of potential medical malpractice claims and serves as a direct link between our clients, our attorneys and the expert witnesses the firm retains to successfully litigate malpractice cases. Kevin expects to continue with the firm as a practicing attorney in these fields upon graduation from law school and his attorney licensure by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Kevin also aids in the preparation for trial of cases involving catastrophically injured victims of accidents, large commercial litigation cases and contractual disputes over the purchase and sale of real property.
Kevin received his B.A. in political science from Boston College in 2007 where he was a volunteer in the athletic development office, helping to raise money to support the school’s athletic programs. He is currently a member of the Widener University School of Law Moot Court Honor Society, the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society, the Student Bar Association and the Student Golf Association.
Outside of work and law school, Kevin loves to surf! He also enjoys golf, yoga, cycling, lifting weights, playing poker and great restaurants. He believes nothing is more important than family, and spends much of his time with his own family and his fiancée. He lives in the Graduate Hospital area of Center City, Philadelphia. Kevin is also interested in developing and investing in real estate.
