Community

At our firm, commitment to helping people extends far beyond the courtroom. We are an active part of the communities we serve, supporting local organizations, sponsoring events, and giving back to the individuals and families who place their trust in us.

That commitment also drives the work we do in our cases, where we strive to create meaningful community impact by holding wrongdoers accountable and pushing for safer practices—from significant safety-driven resolutions to product changes and recalls that help prevent future harm.

Whether it’s partnering with community groups, contributing to meaningful causes, or showing up for local events, we believe in making a positive impact where we live and work. Our dedication to service isn’t just part of what we do—it’s part of who we are.

The Superhero Project

One in every ten moms experience premature birth. That’s why our firm is proud to support The Superhero Project Inc., an inspiring organization founded by longtime Stampone family friend Kelly Gallagher to support families navigating the challenges of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). What began as a grassroots effort providing care packages and essential items to parents has grown into a meaningful initiative focused on strengthening the connection between families and their newborns during incredibly difficult times. Through efforts like bringing Angel Eye camera technology to local hospitals, the organization helps parents stay connected to their babies even when they cannot be at the bedside.

Our connection to this mission is deeply personal—Joe Stampone proudly serves as a board member, and our firm is honored to be the title sponsor of the organization’s annual gala, which raised over $300,000 in 2026. We also helped establish The Superhero Project as the official charity of the Women’s Philadelphia Triathlon, of which our firm is the title sponsor. We are committed to supporting the organization’s continued growth and the meaningful impact it has on families throughout our community and nationwide.

DelMo Sports – Voted Best Triathlons In The USA

Our office has a longstanding relationship with DelMoSports, founded by Firm friend Stephen DelMonte, and we are deeply involved in many of the events they produce. We serve as the title sponsor of the Women’s Philadelphia Triathlon, which draws more than 1,500 competitors each year, as well as the Escape the Cape Triathlon and Open Water Classic in Cape May County, New Jersey—where our firm also has an office. Through this partnership, we also sponsor the Atlantic City Triathlon and previously served as title sponsor of the now-retired Tri the Wildwoods.

Our involvement extends beyond sponsorship. We helped connect The Superhero Project Inc. as the official charitable partner of the Women’s Philadelphia Triathlon, further tying these events to a meaningful community impact. In addition, Joe Stampone’s son-in-law, Steve Zamulinsky, works closely with both our firm and DelMo, handling aerial imaging and investigative work for our office while also capturing and producing video content for DelMo events, including post-race highlight reels.

These events resonate with us on a different level. Much of our work involves helping people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives following serious injuries. Being part of events that celebrate strength, competition, and overall health offers a meaningful balance—allowing us to support those same individuals and communities in a more positive and empowering setting than a courtroom.

The Desatnick Foundation

We’re proud to support the Around the Cape Paddle through the DeSatnick Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals living with spinal cord injuries (SCI) in Southern New Jersey. The Foundation was established by Chad DeSatnick, who suffered a spinal cord injury while surfing and has since committed himself to raising awareness, providing education, and supporting families affected by paralysis.

Chad’s brother, Todd, is closely involved with the Foundation and was instrumental in both its founding and continued growth. From helping establish its mission and structure in the early stages to remaining actively engaged in its ongoing initiatives, Todd has played a central role in the Foundation’s development and overall success.

Through programs like “They Will Surf Again,” the Foundation helps people with spinal cord injuries experience the joy and freedom of the ocean on adaptive surfboards. Their work spans Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Ocean, and Monmouth Counties, combining education, advocacy, and fundraising to empower survivors and their families.

Our involvement with the Around the Cape Paddle reflects our commitment to meaningful community engagement. Beyond sponsorship, we strive to help connect participants, raise awareness, and celebrate the incredible resilience of those living with SCI.

Joe and Dan Stampone were featured on the Coastal Currents Podcast with Todd and Chad Desatnick, founders of The Desatnick Foundation, where they swapped stories about building family-run businesses. The discussion touched on the values of hard work, service, and the community connections that tie us to the Jersey shore.

Life Rolls On – Adaptive Sports

At our firm, we believe in championing organizations that create meaningful opportunities for individuals facing physical challenges. That’s why we proudly sponsor Life Rolls On, a nonprofit founded by 4x world champion quadriplegic surfer Jesse Billauer.

Life Rolls On is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with disabilities through adaptive surf, skate, and fishing events. By providing safe, high-quality experiences, the organization empowers athletes to push beyond limitations, embrace adventure, and discover new possibilities.

Our support goes beyond sponsorship. Attorneys Dan Stampone and JB Dilsheimer have each volunteered their time, spending hours in the ocean in Wildwood, NJ, helping individuals with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities experience the thrill and freedom of surfing firsthand. We’re honored to contribute to Life Rolls On’s mission, helping transform lives, foster resilience, and inspire hope—one wave, one ride, and one cast at a time.

The Dave O’Brien Memorial Golf Outing

Family and the people who shape our lives are at the core of everything we do as a firm. That’s why we are proud to sponsor the annual Dave O’Brien Memorial Golf Outing, a meaningful event hosted by the Drexel University Sport Management program that honors the legacy of Dave O’Brien and his son, Michael. Dave O’Brien, the father of our partner Kevin O’Brien and an attorney himself, was a highly respected leader in collegiate athletics, serving as Athletic Director at Temple University, Northeastern University, and Long Beach State University, and playing an integral role in the Philadelphia Big 5. He also founded Drexel’s Sport Business Program, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students.

This event brings together friends, family, and members of the community for a day of golf at Cedarbrook Country Club (where Dave and Kevin have each won multiple club championships) in remembrance of Dave and Michael, while supporting an important cause. Proceeds benefit the Dave O’Brien Leadership Award, which provides financial assistance each year to both an undergraduate and a graduate student in Drexel’s Sport Business Program. We are honored to support an event that not only celebrates an incredible legacy, but also helps shape the future of students pursuing careers in sports and leadership.

Wildwood, NJ Lifeguards & The South Jersey Lifeguard Racing Series

Our firm is actively involved in supporting The South Jersey Lifeguard Racing Series, a longstanding tradition that brings together beach patrols from across the region to compete in events that showcase strength, endurance, and lifesaving skill. These races are deeply rooted in shore culture and highlight the dedication of the men and women who protect beachgoers each summer. Safety is at the core of what we do as a personal injury law firm, and it is the foundation of what lifeguards do every day—making this partnership a natural fit.

We are especially involved in the Dutch Hoffman Championships hosted by the Wildwood Beach Patrol, where we regularly provide branded shirts and other items to participants and spectators. Our support also extends to the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol, particularly meaningful given our office in Wildwood Crest.

In 2025, we donated a brand-new Van Duyne boat named “Lady Justice,” inspired by the mural that adorns the exterior of our Cheltenham office. Through these efforts, we are proud to support the lifeguard community and the critical role they play in keeping our beaches safe.

Lower Gwynedd Little League / Whitpain Recreation Association (WRA) Soccer / Upper Dublin Football

Our firm is proud to support local youth athletics and the organizations that bring our community together. We are honored to partner with Lower Gwynedd Little League, where Dan Stampone and Kevin O’Brien played Little League baseball and where Joe Stampone served as both a coach and commissioner. As part of this partnership, we donated a brand-new scoreboard for Mike O’Brien Field, a meaningful tribute named in memory of our partner Kevin O’Brien’s late brother.

In addition, we actively support Whitpain Recreation Association and Upper Dublin Football, helping to provide opportunities for young athletes to learn teamwork, build confidence, and enjoy the game. Through these efforts, we remain committed to investing in the strength and spirit of our local community.

Joe Hand Boxing Gym

We are proud to support the Joe Hand Boxing Gym, a longstanding pillar of the community with deep personal ties to our firm. The Hand family are former neighbors and lifelong friends of the Stampone family, making this partnership especially meaningful to us. Founded by Joe Hand Sr.—a legendary fight promoter and member of multiple halls of fame—the gym was created to provide young people with a safe, structured environment to learn discipline, confidence, and life skills through boxing. Today, under the leadership of Joe Hand Jr., the gym continues that mission by offering not only training facilities, but also educational resources for local youth. Our ongoing support reflects both our personal connection to the Hand family and our commitment to organizations that make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in our community.

The Philadelphia Ballet & Cheltenham Arts

Our commitment to the community extends beyond athletics to supporting the arts and cultural institutions that enrich our region. We are proud longtime supporters of Philadelphia Ballet and Cheltenham Center for the Arts, organizations that inspire creativity, education, and artistic expression for individuals of all ages. With our headquarters located in Cheltenham, it is especially meaningful for us to invest in programs that enhance the cultural vibrancy of the community we call home and serve every day.

The MudHen IPA 5K & Beach Baseball Tournament

With an office in Wildwood Crest, we are equally proud to support community events at the Jersey Shore, including those hosted by MudHen Brewing Company—a beloved gathering place in the Wildwoods. We have sponsored signature events such as the MudHenIPA 5K, a scenic and family-friendly race featuring a flat course through the streets, boardwalk, and bike paths of Wildwood, along with a kids’ “Little Hen Mile” and festive pre- and post-race celebrations.

We are also honored to support the MudHen Beach Baseball Tournament, presented by Morey’s Piers, which brings together youth teams ages 9 to 15 from across the region for two exciting weekends of competition behind the iconic Wildwood sign. With approximately 60 teams, 1,000 players, and countless family members in attendance, the tournament combines America’s favorite pastime with a vibrant beachside atmosphere, including a Home Run Derby, local vendors, and community-focused activities. Through these sponsorships, we are proud to help create memorable experiences for families and visitors along the Jersey Shore.

LaSalle University Athletics

Our firm is honored to support the athletic programs at La Salle University, including both its baseball and basketball teams. Our connection to the baseball program is especially meaningful, as our founder and managing shareholder, Joe Stampone, is a former player and a member of the University’s Hall of Athletes. That relationship has inspired our continued involvement, including helping to enhance the program through the donation of a new scoreboard and support for updated team uniforms.

As a firm deeply rooted in this community, supporting programs that help shape student-athletes both on and off the field is important to us. We are honored to play a small role in enhancing the game-day experience for players, families, alumni, and fans alike, while contributing to the continued success of La Salle’s proud athletic tradition.

WeCare

We are proud to support WeCare Ambler, a community-based initiative dedicated to assisting families in the Ambler area who are facing food insecurity. As a sponsored organization of Family Promise Montco PA, WeCare plays a vital role in providing direct, meaningful support to local families in need. During the 2025–2026 school year alone, the organization assisted more than 110 neighbors, distributed over 17,000 pounds of food directly to families, provided 407 early dismissal lunches, and supplied 147 grocery and holiday program gift cards.

Our connection to WeCare is especially meaningful, as Eva O’Brien—mother of our partner Kevin O’Brien—is a driving force behind its mission. We are proud to support an organization that delivers tangible assistance while strengthening the fabric of the community we serve.

Bill McIntrye’s Shooting Stars (Mummers Parade)

With an office in Philadelphia on the 55th floor of One Liberty Place, we are proud to support one of the city’s most cherished traditions, the Mummers Parade. As a sponsor of Bill McIntyre’s Shooting Stars, we help celebrate a legacy that spans more than 75 years of performance, craftsmanship, and community pride. As the first and longest-tenured Fancy Brigade, the Shooting Stars have earned a remarkable record of championships and Hall of Fame recognition, while fostering generations of camaraderie among its members and families. We are honored to play a small role in preserving this iconic Philadelphia tradition and supporting the passion, dedication, and artistry that define the Mummers each year.

Run The Crest

We are pleased to support Run the Crest, a 5K race held in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey—home to one of our firm’s offices. This event brings together residents, visitors, and local organizations in a shared commitment to health, community, and giving back. Our sponsorship reflects our connection to the Wildwood Crest community and our belief in supporting events that promote wellness and bring people together in a meaningful way.

Miss Teen New Jersey

We are honored to support young leaders in our community through our sponsorship of a contestant in the Miss Teen New Jersey Pageant. This program celebrates confidence, leadership, and a commitment to service—values that closely align with our firm’s mission. Through our sponsorship, we aim to help empower the next generation of women as they pursue their goals, advocate for causes they care about, and make a positive impact both locally and beyond.

Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center

We are honored to support Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center, an organization dedicated to protecting and advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Mission Kids provides a safe, child-focused environment where young victims can receive coordinated services, including forensic interviews, medical care, and counseling.

In our own practice, we represent children who have suffered institutional abuse, giving us a deep appreciation for the importance of early intervention, compassionate support, and accountability. Our involvement reflects a shared commitment to protecting vulnerable children and helping them move toward healing and justice.

Varlo’s “It Could Be Me” Initiative

We are honored to partner with Varlo’s “It Could Be Me” initiative, a powerful cycling campaign focused on promoting road safety and reminding drivers to share the road responsibly. This message resonates strongly with our work, as we regularly represent injured cyclists and have secured significant recoveries on their behalf, including a $3 million jury verdict in Philadelphia. Our sponsorship reflects both our commitment to advocating for cyclists after serious accidents and our support for efforts aimed at preventing those tragedies from happening in the first place.

Michael’s Giving Hand / Green Carpet Gala

We are honored to support Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. and its annual Green Carpet Gala, an event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for individuals and families in need. The organization’s mission to provide meaningful assistance and create lasting impact within the community aligns closely with our firm’s values. Our sponsorship of the Green Carpet Gala reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift others and make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Community Legal Services

We are honored to highlight our partner, JB Dilsheimer, for his ongoing involvement with Community Legal Services of Philadelphia. Through this work and our firm’s generosity, JB enables Community Legal Services to provide access to justice for individuals and families who might otherwise go without representation. Community Legal Services plays a critical role in advocating for vulnerable populations across Philadelphia, and JB’s commitment reflects our firm’s broader dedication to service beyond the courtroom.

LaSalle High School Football

We are honored to support the football program at La Salle College High School, which captured the 2025 PIAA Class 6A Football State Championship. The team’s success is a testament to its discipline, leadership, and commitment to excellence—values that strongly align with our firm’s own approach. Our connection to the program is especially meaningful, as the roster includes Nick Stampone, a member of the Stampone family. We are proud to support a program that not only achieves at the highest level, but also plays an important role in shaping young men within the community.

Wild Isle Outrigger Canoe Club

The Wild Isle Outrigger Canoe Club, dedicated to expanding access to and appreciation of the ocean and bays surrounding the Wildwood area, is the only outrigger canoe club in Southern New Jersey. As part of our commitment, we are sponsoring the purchase of a new canoe, “Lady Joan,” which will support the club’s growing youth, open, and masters programs.

Wild Isle Outrigger not only promotes fitness and teamwork through the ancient sport of paddling, but also instills a deep respect for the environment through its guiding principle of “Kuleana,” or responsibility. Their mission to foster leadership, stewardship, and a lasting connection to the water aligns closely with our firm’s commitment to supporting meaningful, community-driven initiatives.

Wild Harbor Tri Club

The Wild Harbor Tri Club is an organization dedicated to promoting fitness, endurance, and community through the sport of triathlon. Based in Wildwood, New Jersey—where our firm proudly maintains an office—the club brings together athletes of all levels who share a commitment to health, discipline, and personal growth. Our sponsorship reflects our strong ties to the Wildwood community and our support for organizations that encourage active lifestyles and bring people together through positive, goal-driven pursuits.

The Stampone Umpire Service

We are also proud to support The Stampone Umpire Service, a respected Pennsylvania-based organization that plays a vital role in local athletics. Providing upwards of 250 umpires for youth, high school, and semi-professional leagues throughout the Philadelphia area, Stampone Umpires helps ensure that games are conducted with fairness, integrity, and professionalism. Under the leadership since 2012 of Nick Chichilitti, a Stampone family cousin, the organization has become a trusted partner for leagues across the region, and we are honored to support their ongoing contributions to the sports community.
