Jeffrey Freedman

Jeffrey Freedman has represented clients throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding counties for more than 50 years. He is known for his calm demeanor, sound judgment, and unwavering integrity. Over his career, he has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict and negotiated favorable resolutions in countless others. His experience and commitment to his clients have earned him the respect of colleagues, judges, and the legal community.

Born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Jeff graduated from Atlantic City High School, where he was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for his baseball accomplishments. He came to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where he played basketball and baseball as a freshman. Jeff met his wife, Karen, at Penn. While working as a high school math teacher, he attended Temple University Beasley School of Law’s evening program and began a legal career spanning more than five decades.

Jeffrey has devoted his career to representing injured individuals and families, helping them through some of the most challenging times in their lives. He understands that clients come to an attorney not only for legal guidance, but also for reassurance during periods of uncertainty. Throughout his career, he has earned his clients’ trust by providing honest advice, realistic expectations, and thoughtful counsel tailored to their circumstances. He believes that careful preparation, integrity, and treating every client with dignity and respect are cornerstones to effective legal representation. Whether resolving a matter through negotiation or advocating in the courtroom, Jeffrey remains committed to achieving the best possible outcome for every client he serves.
Outside the office, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family. He and Karen are the proud parents of two children: Gina Kirwin, who practices law alongside him, and Sam Freedman, who is a Senior Chief in the United States Coast Guard where he has served for more than 20 years. They are also proud grandparents to nine grandchildren, ages 2 to 22, who keep them busy whenever they’re together.
