As a former defense litigator, Ben brings a unique and powerful perspective to the pursuit of justice on behalf of his clients.
For the first decade of his career, Ben honed his skills defending large corporations, insurance companies, and businesses in cases involving premises and general liability, products liability, automobile and transportation liability, liquor liability, and construction defects. This extensive background provides him with an invaluable understanding of how defendants and their insurers evaluate, strategize, and ultimately seek to avoid responsibility. Ben knows their playbook, their weaknesses, and how to effectively counter their tactics to secure the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Ben is particularly adept at navigating intricate construction site accident and defect matters, and he understands the complex web of contractual responsibility that often exists in these cases. His prior experience serving as national and local coverage counsel for insurers also gives him an insider’s view into first and third-party coverage and bad faith claims, enabling him to anticipate and overcome obstacles to ensure maximum recovery for his clients. In 2024 and 2025, Ben was named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” an award bestowed on the top 2.5% of all lawyers in Pennsylvania under the age of 40.
A proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law and was a member of both the Civil Practice Legal Clinic and Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, Ben combines rigorous legal scholarship with practical, results-driven advocacy. He graduated cum laude from Temple University, studying Journalism and Political Science, and also holds a Certificate in Business Management, Economics, and Public Policy from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Throughout his career, Ben has successfully handled cases involving a wide range of industries, from small business owners to Fortune 500 Companies. This diverse experience means he’s prepared to take on any opponent, ensuring that his clients receive the strong, informed representation they deserve.
